Abstract

The Book of Political Imagination in the Islamic Iranian World tries to analyze the events and developments of contemporary Iran based on the political imagination by looking at the ontology and epistemology of the imagination, while explaining the dimensions and angles and defining this concept. Based on the topics presented in the book and especially with regard to the challenges and discussions of imagination in the existing intellectual literature, the relationship between imagination and political affairs, practical wisdom, jurisprudence, history, sociology and political philosophy will be discussed and the strengths and weaknesses of the book will be discussed. Determining the criteria and foundations for the imaginary world and moving it away from illusion and fantasy, analyzing contemporary social political developments based on political imagination, presenting anthropology based on imagination and accompanying some of the main topics of political philosophy with the literature in the discussion of imagination are among the strengths of this book. Despite the strength that it is full of presenting ideas to the reader, the book has not been able to nurture and finish ideas. This article has criticized the incompleteness of many of the topics discussed in the book and ambiguity in some of the proposed topics.
